Biography

Dr. Cassandra Montague is a professor and researcher of anthropology at Columbia University. Montague received B.A.s in Anthropology and Philosophy from Harvard University in 1993. She completed a Ph.D. on Humans and Houses from Columbia University in 1999. Her research interests involve the cultural significance of supposedly 'supernatural' occurances and beliefs. She has coauthored over 50 articles on these and other topics.

Outside of work, Dr. Montague enjoys hobbies including bike riding, book collecting, and insect pinning.
